چکیده
Exchange bias is a common phenomenon that appear at the interfaces between ferromagnetic and ferrimagnetic materials due to presence of frozen spins. However, systematic quantification their intrinsic correlation remains be challenge. Herein, we assumed exchange induced by spins as synergy an effective static magnetic field anisotropy, thus estimated effect core@shell iron@iron-oxide nanoparticles. It confirmed shift hysteresis loop 2322 Oe coercivity increases from 360 1590 Oe. Using micromagnetic simulations, can reconstruct such introducing 7360 anisotropy 45×103 J/m3. Therefore, established connection interfacial mesoscale perspective, mediated anisotropy. Our results provide understanding promote applications ferromagnetic/ferrimagnetic heterostructures. Correlation between exchange bias and pinned interfacial spins.
Using x-ray magnetic circular dichroism, we have detected the very interfacial spins that are responsible for the horizontal loop shift in three different exchange bias sandwiches, chosen because of their potential for device applications. The "pinned" uncompensated interfacial spins constitute only a fraction of a monolayer and do not rotate in an external magnetic field since they are tightly...

The control of complex oxide heterostructures at atomic level generates a rich spectrum of exotic properties and unexpected states at the interface between two separately prepared materials. The frustration of magnetization and conductivity of manganite perovskite at surface/interface which is inimical to their device applications, could also flourish in tailored functionalities in return. Here...
متن کاملDepth profile of uncompensated spins in an exchange bias system.
We have used the unique spatial sensitivity of polarized neutron and soft x-ray beams in reflection geometry to measure the depth dependence of magnetization across the interface between a ferromagnet and an antiferromagnet. The net uncompensated magnetization near the interface responds to applied field, while uncompensated spins in the antiferromagnet bulk are pinned, thus providing a means t...
